Using viewport annotation options

Use the viewport annotation options to customize the legend, the title block, the state block, the 3D compass, and the view triad for all plot states. In addition, the viewport annotation options control the display of arrow and text annotations.

  1. From the main menu bar, select ViewportViewport Annotation Options.

    The Viewport Annotation Options dialog box appears. It contains the following tabs:

    • General: Control the display of all viewport annotations—those generated by Abaqus/CAE and any arrow and text annotations that you created.

    • Triad: Control the appearance and position of the view triad.

    • Legend: Control the appearance and position of the legend and whether minimum and maximum values are shown.

    • Title Block: Control the appearance and position of the title block.

    • State Block: Control the appearance and position of the state block.

  2. Use the General tab to control the display of viewport annotations for all plots in the current viewport. You can display all viewport annotations in the current viewport by clicking Set all on, or you can hide all viewport annotations in the current viewport by clicking Set all off.
