Performing a data check on an adaptivity process

A data check runs the input file for a model through the analysis input file processor to ensure that the model is consistent and that all the required model options have been set. Performing a data check on an adaptivity process will create a job and verify model information for the first iteration of the overall adaptivity process.

To perform a data check on an adaptivity process, select AdaptivityData Checkadaptivity process name from the main menu bar. You can also perform a data check by selecting the process name in the Adaptivity Process Manager and clicking Data Check.

The job created by the data check appears in the Jobs container using the naming conventions discussed in Creating a new adaptivity process. To see the results of a data check, review the data (.dat) file for this job in your working directory. You can also review the results of a data check by selecting JobMonitorcreated job from the main menu bar to display the job monitor dialog box.
