Context:
Use the pan tool
from the
View Manipulation toolbar
to move the view horizontally and vertically within the viewport. Hold
Shift while using the pan tool to access the alternate pan
mode. The alternate mode shifts the view perspective as you pan the view,
creating a more realistic image (for more information, see
The pan view tool).
If the current viewport is linked to other viewports,
Abaqus/CAE
also moves the view of objects within all linked viewports in your session. For
more information, see
Linking viewports for view manipulation.
From the
View Manipulation toolbar,
click the pan tool
to enter pan mode.
Position the cursor in the viewport whose view you want to change.
The cursor changes to a four-headed arrow:
Drag the cursor in any direction until you obtain the desired view.
The position of your view of the model or
X–Y plot in the viewport changes as you drag the
cursor, and a rubberband line indicates the amount of translation.
Note:
The initial location of the cursor is not important, as long as you
place it within the viewport. Cursor motion is limited only by the physical
bounds of your monitor, and panning will continue even if you move the cursor
outside the viewport or window.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you achieve the desired view.
