You can control the speed of your object-based animation playback, and you can choose to play your animation once or to repeat it. If you choose to repeat the animation, you can select one of three repetition modes: loop, loop backward, or swing. Loop repeats by jumping from the last animation frame to the beginning of your movie. Loop backward plays the animation backward and repeats by jumping from the first animation frame to the end of your movie. Swing repeats smoothly by playing your movie from beginning to end and then playing from the end back to the beginning.
The speed control settings you specify before you create image-based animations determine the default frame rate that is used when the QuickTime or AVI files are replayed from within industry-standard animation software.
In the prompt area, click Animation Options; and click the Player tab in the dialog box that appears.
To control the playback speed of your animation, drag the Frame rate slider to the rate that you want.
To control repetition of the images in your animation sequence:
Click Play once to suppress repetition.
Click Loop to play the images in order from the first to the last, repeatedly.
Click Loop backward to play the images in order from the last to the first, repeatedly.
Click Swing to play the images from the first to the last and then in reverse order from the last back to the first, repeatedly.
Click Apply to implement your changes.
The animation in all animated viewports changes according to your specifications.
Your changes are saved for the duration of the session and will affect all subsequent plots in this state.
