Resetting the view

Use the reset view tool from the Sketcher toolbox to return to the original view. For a diagram of the tools in the Sketcher toolbox, see The Sketcher tools.

If you are unsure of the part's or assembly's orientation relative to the sketch plane, you can use the view manipulation tools to examine the sketch plane and the object on which you are sketching. When you click the reset view tool, Abaqus/CAE restores the view to the original view orientation displayed when you entered the Sketcher.
