Exporting Jobs

You can export jobs from your Isight database. These jobs can then be imported into other Isight databases. If there is a SIMULIA Execution Engine connection (.cpr) file in the Isight directory and you are not connected to a SIMULIA Execution Engine, you will be prompted to either export the job locally or to a SIMULIA Execution Engine database.

For information about the SIMULIA Execution Engine connection file, see Creating a SIMULIA Execution Engine Connection Profile.

  1. Open the Job Database interface as described in Accessing the Job Database Interface.

  2. From the Job List, locate and select the jobs you want to export.

  3. Click the button on the right side of the Job Database interface.

  4. If you are working with Isight in Standalone mode or using Isight connected to a SIMULIA Execution Engine, do the following:

    1. Click Yes if you want to include the parameters in the export; otherwise, click No.

      The Save dialog box appears

    2. Save the job to the location of your choice.

An Export tab appears on the Job Database interface. From here you can monitor the status of the export, clear the exported jobs, and load an exported job.

    3. If desired, click the button to clear all the exported jobs.
    4. To load an exported job, select the job, and click Load Job.
    5. Click the Search tab to access the Job Database interface again or click Close to return to the Runtime Gateway.

    • Select Local File(s) to export the job to the local job database, and click OK.

      1. Click Yes if you want to include the parameters in the export; otherwise, click No.
