Executing Models

Verify the following:

• All parameter values have been altered, if necessary, as described in Viewing and Manipulating Model Parameters.
• Any process components have been formulated, if necessary, as described in Configuring Your Design.

Click Run (or Run Again if you have already executed the model during the current session) on the Current Model page. If necessary, you can halt the execution manually using Pause and Stop.

Before executing the model, the WebTop attempts to validate the model. If there are any model errors preventing execution, you will see a message to that effect—click the Model Validation tab to view details about the errors.

When model execution is completed successfully, a flag appears near the status bar and run counter, and the Parameters tab is updated to show the output values.

If your execution failed for any reason, click the Log tab to view information that may help you resolve any issues.
