Exporting Models with Internet Explorer

If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 and later, you might see the message “Internet Explorer cannot download . . from server” when you attempt to download a model. This error indicates that a document cannot be opened when using an HTTPS URL. This problem occurs because the ability for Internet Explorer to save encrypted Web pages data has not been disabled.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.

  2. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

  3. Click the Advanced tab.

  4. Locate the “Security” section at the bottom of the list of options.

  5. Click Do not save encrypted pages to disk.

  6. Click OK to save your changes.

  7. Reattempt the model download.
