Undoing or redoing mesh editing actions

The undo and redo options that appear in the Undo section of the Edit Mesh and Create Bottom-Up Mesh dialog boxes are specific to the selected part, part instance, or assembly. When you switch to a different item and edit its mesh, the undo options change to reflect the history of the selected item. Abaqus/CAE updates the state of the buttons and their descriptions to reflect the history of the newly selected part, part instance, or assembly.

Note:

When you perform a new mesh editing operation, or any other operation that alters the mesh , any redo information about the affected part or part instance will be lost. Undo and redo information is also deleted if you delete a region mesh, apply top-down meshing, or add partitions if the added partitions require part of the mesh to be deleted.
