You use the Sketch module to create and manage two-dimensional profiles that are not associated with a feature; these profiles are known as stand-alone sketches. Stand-alone sketches can be incorporated in the current sketch, and they will overlay any existing geometry. For more information, see Managing stand-alone sketches.
