Producing and customizing an object-based animation

In a time history animation you can customize the analysis steps and frames that Abaqus/CAE includes in your animation. In a scale factor or a harmonic animation you can customize the apparent motion of your model. For all three types of animation you can customize the underlying deformed shape, contour, symbol, or material orientation plot.

At any time before or during object-based animation playback you can customize the deformed shape, contour, symbol, or material orientation plot that underlies your animation. For example, you can toggle the legend, adjust the deformation scale factor, or choose a different field output variable. Use the View, Result, and Options menus to customize the underlying plot of your animation.
