Importing Functions from the Library to Use in a Conditional Expression

By default, string functions are provided in the Sim-flow Condition Expression Editor.

For more information about the string functions, see Calculator Component in the Isight Component Guide. In addition, you can add functions through plug-ins. For more information, see About Plug-Ins in the Isight Development Guide. Contact your SIMULIA technical support representative for additional assistance.

  1. From the Sim-flow Condition Expression Editor, click Import.

If you are working in collapsed mode, click Functions and select Import.

The Import Additional Functions dialog box appears.

  2. Click the check box next to the function that you want to import.

You can import more than one group of functions into an expression.

After you select a group of functions, you can view details of the functions it defines on the right side of the dialog box.

  3. Click OK.

Isight adds the appropriate #import statement list to the beginning of the expression. Deleting the #import statement removes the additional functions.
