Moving Objects from the Isight Library to the Component Palette

You can move models and components from the Isight library to the component palette in the Design Gateway.

If you move a component from the Isight library to the Design Gateway, you may need to use the encapsulation feature to build a new model around the component. For more information, see Encapsulating Components.

  1. From the View menu, select Library or click the Library button on the Design Gateway toolbar.

    The Isight Library appears.

  2. Select the object that you want to move to the component palette.

  3. Click the button.

    Tip: You can also drag and drop the object directly to the tab that is currently active in the Design Gateway. You may need to move the Isight library window to view the tab.

    The object appears on the component palette.

  4. Click OK to close the Isight library.
