Removing an Object from the Isight Library

You can permanently remove an object from the Isight library.

If you are connected to a SIMULIA Execution Engine, you need to have the proper permissions for an object to delete it.

Warning: Use caution when removing published items from a library, especially from a shared library. Any model that has been constructed using a published object will become unusable once that object has been removed.

  1. From the View menu, select Library or click the Library button on the Design Gateway toolbar.

    The Isight Library appears.

  2. Locate the object and the correct version that you want to remove. If needed, click the button next to the object to view all the versions.

    Important: If you only want to delete a particular version, make sure only that version is selected, not the highest level object. If the highest level object is deleted, all versions are also deleted.

  3. Click the Delete button, and click Yes to verify the deletion.

    Isight removes the specified object from the library.
