Deleting Jobs

You can use the Job Database interface to delete jobs from the job database. This action differs from removing the jobs from memory. Deleting a job permanently removes the job from the job database. The results can no longer be recovered and used by the Runtime Gateway. Use care when deleting jobs from the job database.

  1. Open the Job Database interface as described in Accessing the Job Database Interface.

  2. From the Job List, locate the job you want to delete.

  3. If the job you want to delete is running (designated by the icon in the Status column), click the button to first stop the job. For more information, see Stopping Running Jobs.

  4. Do one of the following:

    • Click the job to select it, and click the button on the right side of the Job Database interface.

    • Right-click the job, and click Delete Job.

You can select multiple jobs to delete by holding down the CTRL key on your keyboard and clicking numerous jobs on the list.

    A confirmation message appears.

  5. Click Yes.

Isight permanently deletes the job from the database.
