From the Design Gateway
or Runtime Gateway
Edit menu, click Preferences.
Click Approximations and in the Default
Technique list, select the technique that Isight
always uses when you first create an approximation. By default, Response
Surface Model is selected. For more information about the available techniques,
see Creating and Using Approximations.
Click Warn when a component with approximations is changed,
if desired.
If you select this option and an approximation has been defined for
a component, a warning message appears when that component’s editor
is closed when you click OK or Apply.
The warning states that changes to the component may invalidate the existing
approximations, and you are asked to confirm the change. By default,
this option is selected.
Click Warn when initialization is canceled due to model change,
if desired.
If you select this message, a warning message appears when a different
model is selected while Isight
is initializing an approximation. The warning states that the initialization
has been canceled because of the change. By default, this option is selected.
Click OK to save your changes and to close the
Preferences dialog box.
