Design Gateway View Menu

This section provides a reference to the options available from the Design Gateway View menu.

Option Icon Toolbar/ Title Bar Button Action
Component     Opens a submenu containing the following options:
 

  Parameters. Opens a standalone Parameters dialog box that displays the same information as the Parameters tab. This option performs the same function as the Detach button on the Parameters tab (see Comparing Parameters for Multiple Components).
 

  Files. Opens a standalone Files dialog box that displays the same information as the Files tab and shows file parameter information (see Using File Parameters).
 



Editor. Opens the selected component’s editor (see the Isight Component Guide).
 



Properties. Opens the Properties dialog box and displays information for the selected component (see Configuring the Component Properties in the Isight Component Guide).
 

  Dataflow Mapping. Opens a mapping dialog box that displays the mapping information for the selected component. The information displayed is the same as the information displayed on the Mapping tab (see Mapping Parameters and File Parameters).
 



Approximations. Opens an approximations dialog box that displays the approximation information for the selected component. You can also create a new approximation for the selected component (see Creating and Using Approximations).
Library



Opens the library (see Accessing the Isight Library).
Runtime Gateway



Opens the Runtime Gateway interface, with no model loaded.
Server Information

  Opens the Server Information dialog box if you are connected to a SIMULIA Execution Engine. Provides details on the current SIMULIA Execution Engine connection (see Viewing SIMULIA Execution Engine Connection Information).
Job Database

  Opens the Select Job dialog box, which allows you to retrieve job information from a local database and load it into the Runtime Gateway. You can also set permissions for jobs if you are connected to a SIMULIA Execution Engine environment. For more information, see Using the Job Database Interface.
Tabs     Allows you to select which tabs are visible in the Design Gateway.
Component Palette     When this option is selected, the component palette (the area that holds component icons and stores the Application components, Process components, and <New> tabs) is displayed. By default, the component palette appears.
Status Bar     When this option is selected, the status bar at the bottom of the Design Gateway is visible. By default, the status bar is visible.
Toolbar     When this option is selected, the toolbar, directly below the menu bar at the top of the Design Gateway, is visible. By default, the toolbar is visible.
