Manipulating Tabs on the Component Palette

You can move tabs, change tab names, and add new tabs on the Design Gateway by right-clicking on a tab.

The following options are available when you right-click a tab:

  • Rename Tab. Select this option to change the name of the existing tab.

Tip: You can also double-click the tab to rename it.
  • Add New Tab. Select this option to add a new tab. Once the tab is named, it is inserted to the left of the <New> tab, at the end of the tab list. This option is the same as clicking the <New> tab as described in Adding Tabs to the Component Palette.

  • Insert New Tab. Select this option to add a new tab to the left of the tab that you right-clicked. This option is similar to the Add New Tab option. However, instead of adding the tab to the end of the tab list, it adds it to the left of the tab that you right-clicked.

  • Move Tab to. Select this option to move the tab to a different location (e.g., before the Process Components tab). The locations available are based on the number of tabs that you currently have on your Design Gateway, as well as the location of the tab selected for moving.

  • Delete Tab. Select this option to delete the selected tab.

Tip: You can also click the tab and press the DELETE key to delete the tab.
