Web Application Packaging

The Web application is a SIMULIA Execution Engine client and must, therefore, have access to all the SIMULIA Execution Engine jar files that implement the APIs and communicate with the server.

The simplest way to provide access to all the SIMULIA Execution Engine jar files is to include in the Web WAR file (in the WEB-INF/lib directory) all the JAR files from the Isight installation lib directory, sdk directory, and appropriate server directory (either server/websphere or server/weblogic). For the server directory include all the JAR files in that directory and all subdirectories. You must know ahead of time if your Web application will connect to a SIMULIA Execution Engine running on WebSphere or on WebLogic and if your web application will include only those server JAR files.
