PBS/TORQUE Grid Plug-in Limitations

Before you begin working with the PBS/TORQUEgrid plug-in, there are some general requirements that are helpful to know.

  • Direct and unrestricted access to run the PBS/TORQUE commands is required.
  • Only command-line codes are supported.
  • Jobs can be submitted only under the security credentials of the job submitter in Isight.
  • A shared filesystem is required between the working directory and the compute node. The PBS/TORQUE plug-in does not have file copy capability.
